This policy explains what personal information VVS Paints ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. VVS Paints is an online education brand operated from South Africa. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

When you visit this website: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered securely. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
When you buy: payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We never see or store your full card details. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can deliver your purchase and provide support.
When you contact us: we keep your email address and the content of your messages so we can reply.

How we use it

To deliver what you bought.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To handle refunds, chargebacks and fraud prevention, together with Creem.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
To send you important updates about your purchase. We will only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers we need to run the business: Creem (payments, tax, invoicing and digital delivery), Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing) and our email provider. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, including in the European Union and the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the providers' safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase and support records for up to five years after your purchase, to meet tax and legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email supportyou11@vvspaints.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in South Africa, you may also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). If you are in the EU, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reputable providers with encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to personal information to what is needed to run the business.

Children

Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
